In an empty layer make the shape of your window. I used a disk stretched longer in the Y. Once completed, with your curved surface in the background, move your window profile to the edge of the curved surface. ***NOTE*** That I've kept the center of the window profile as close as I could to a contour line on the surface.... this is important for later.
